Job Objective: We are seeking an Industrial Engineering and Operational Excellence Specialist to improve productivity and economic efficiency in our production area assigned. The successful candidate will utilize industrial engineering methods of work and system design under ergonomic, material flow, and value-adding aspects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of industrial engineering tools, ensuring coherence and uniformity of methods and tools in cooperation with the plant manager.
- Participate in regular Operational Excellence Road Map reviews.
- Develop and implement improvement plans, as well as carry out Road Map activities in agreement with responsible parties.
- Investigate production and production-affiliated areas to identify improvement potentials in workflow and setup organization.
- Contribute to preparing suggestions for improvement and take over the interface function to Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
- Analyze improvement projects regarding workflows, IE tasks, logistic concepts, processes, and work systems.
- Develop and implement standards for technical or organizational processes and logistic workflows.
- Support the transition of projects from Technical to Operational Department (TtM to OtD) in realizing new projects (products) in terms of production-related matters.
- Conduct success checks for measures initiated by comparing business management data.
- Act as a contact point for lean production, Standard Work, MTM, SAP routings.
- Guide and support Operational Excellence employees at locations.
We are looking for a candidate with a university degree and more than 2 up to 3 years of experience. SAP or ERP system knowledge is preferred. Advanced English language skills are required.
