EHS Specialist

Eaton's IS AER ITD division is seeking a highly skilled EHS Engineer to provide environmental, health, and safety support to the site.

**Job Summary**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting EHS activities and achieving EHS objectives and targets
• Internal reporting of EHS performance and review of national and local regulatory requirements
• Maintaining site ZWTL certification and ensuring accurate and complete EHS reporting of metrics
• Closure of MESH and regulatory agency findings on a timely basis
• Completion of required training and directing actions during crises
• Maintaining a strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site

**Key Responsibilities**

• Interacting with all site areas to develop, implement, and execute the Annual EHS Action Plan and EHS projects
• Participating in the Corporate EHS Audit Program as an auditor
• Developing and maintaining EHS Compliance Calendars and ensuring required activities occur to maintain EHS compliance
• Investigating employee concerns, EHS incidents, and employee observations/near misses, and developing corrective action
• Developing emergency brigades and emergency preparedness for the site
• Maintaining and communicating EHS metrics as required
• Evaluating the effectiveness of existing EHS programs and developing additional programs as needed
• Developing and facilitating all required EHS training

**Requirements**

• Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical field, preferably engineering, chemistry, or EHS management
• STPS, SEMARNAT, CEDES, OSHA, LFT, Protección Civil, and normativity knowledge
• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 knowledge
• 3+ years of relevant experience with an emphasis in environmental, health, and safety programs
• Advanced English
