Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new materials and processes to support the design and manufacture of medical devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize material and process development projects
  • Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the properties and performance of new materials and processes
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support material and process development projects
  • Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure successful transfer of new materials and processes to production

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in materials engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of materials science and engineering principles, including materials properties, processing, and characterization
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
