Key Responsibilities:
  • Align cloud architecture with business strategy and design best practices.
  • Design cloud platform architecture in a heterogeneous environment with multiple business units.
  • Guarantee convergence of existing platform with target architecture.
  • Ensure implementation of actions of current platform convergence plan with target.
  • Maintain central view of obsolescence, technical debts, and estimate risk and cost.
  • Anticipate and propose action plans related to obsolescence, technological and application debts, or required team's technical skills.
  • Support CoE Leader for the Americas in cloud governance and cloud adoption.
  • Collaborate effectively with global cloud team peers and interact with BU DevOps leaders and BU CTOs.
  • Define improvements to increase system reliability and performance.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend ways to improve it.
  • Use knowledge for troubleshooting complex incidents.
  • Troubleshoot incidents in existing solutions with poor documented cloud designs.
  • Analyze existing information system (applications, infrastructures, security).
  • Choose technologies with different constraints (cost, time, and security).
  • Guarantee alignment of new projects with target architecture.
  • Ensure each project's compliance with target architecture.
  • Propose transitional solutions according to company decisions.
  • Guarantee application of architectures good practices of information systems.
  • Design 'Infrastructure as a Code' scripts for automating cloud components.
  • Maintain Azure Resource Management or Terraform templates in the GIT repository.
  • Define pre-approved services from certified clouds.
  • Experience in enterprise cloud initiatives and projects designing and supporting corporate environments.
  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience and 5 years of hands-on experience in administering large cloud environments globally.
  • Experience in managing Azure subscriptions and resources or AWS account management.
  • Experience in deploying and managing virtual machines.
  • Experience in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Azure or AWS.
  • Experience in creating and deploying apps.
  • Experience in PowerShell scripts.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related).
  • Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
