Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to join our team in the City of Shakopee, MN. As an expert in manufacturing operations, you will play a crucial role in defining optimal work processes for each product manufactured in the assembly area.

Your responsibilities will include preparing cost analyses of products manufactured or to be manufactured in the Company, defining theoretical capacity of processes, and conducting capacity studies of new equipment whenever necessary.

You will propose cost reduction initiatives in the operation, implement layouts, systems, equipment, and forms of operation to improve productivity with the highest quality and at the lowest cost.

Maintaining physical conditions conducive to improving productivity and efficiency indicators is also part of your duties as an Industrial Process Optimization Specialist.

In addition, you will define and monitor the implementation of best practices through Lean Manufacturing methodologies, ensure KPI's compliance, and guarantee that information contained in procedures, documents, and what is done in the plant is compatible with technical documentation.

As a key member of our team, you will detect and resolve findings in the machining operation, work with operation, resources, and facilities for the manufacture of products based on the production program of the machining area, and implement process improvements for the assembly area.

Root cause analysis and action plans are also essential tasks for this role.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who relies on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment when making decisions.

Collaboration is also crucial, as you will work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

A strong ability to identify and create processes necessary to get work done is also required.

Requirements:
  • Intermediate English
  • Completed degree or engineering
  • Office intermediate, AutoCAD, Oracle
  • Measuring instruments: Vernier, Micrometer, Tester, HIPOT, Pneumatic Gun, Continuity Meter, Stopwatch
  • Mandatory: Machining, Electromechanical, Assembly
  • Mandatory: 4 years as an Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer
