Category Development Manager

At Mondelēz International, we are seeking a skilled Category Development Manager to join our team. As a Category Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing selling programs related to your assigned Category's innovation, distribution, merchandising, and promotional plans. You will work closely with the Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and the Category Innovation, Marketing and Equity teams to ensure that our strategies and tactics are aligned to the needs of our Customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute selling programs related to your assigned Category's innovation, distribution, merchandising, and promotional plans.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and the Category Innovation, Marketing and Equity teams to ensure alignment of strategies and tactics.
  • Build category and customer plans for the assigned Category, working collaboratively with Category teams, Insights, and Customer Business Teams (CBTs).
  • Provide thought leadership internally and externally around brand and category initiatives.
  • Lead the delivery of category dashboards and fundamentals, and recommend corrective actions to ensure targets are met.

Requirements
  • Category development, key accounts, and market insight analysis experience.
  • Future-focused mindset with curiosity about industry trends, digital solutions, and innovation.
  • Delivering strategic plans, measuring and monitoring results, and making recommendations to achieve growth targets.
  • Influence stakeholders and interact effectively with others.
  • Proven experience in the fast-moving consumer goods field is a distinct advantage.
