- Geotechnical Engineering: Provide specialist skills and knowledge in geotechnical engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current good engineering practice.
- Interface Management: Manage interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client, and suppliers.
- Technical Documentation: Check and approve technical documentation, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy.
- Risk Management: Understand and manage geotechnical and geohazards risks.
- Training and Development: Participate in engineers' training and development to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Professional Qualifications: Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering with geotechnical expertise.
- Relevant Experience: 10+ years of experience in all aspects of offshore geotechnical engineering design and installation.
- Knowledge and Skills: Awareness of marine classification and local legislation, ability to work within time/budget constraints, and use of relevant codes and standards associated with geotechnical engineering in the offshore industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE): Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain PE in 6 months.
