Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing ETL/ELT processes and knowledge in databases and Data warehouse modeling
  • Building APIs for application integration and experience with various web-development languages, frameworks and processes
  • Determine transformation requirements and develop processes to bring structured and unstructured data from the source to a new physical Data Model
  • Work with Data Scientists to implement strategies for cleaning and preparing data for analysis, to develop data imputation algorithms, and optimize performance
  • Background on SQL and databases and programming skills in C#, HTML, CSS
  • Data Analysis and Validation skills

Requirements:

  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment
  • Drive engagement with cross-functional partners, work to decompose requirements into technical execution plans with measurable milestones, effectively optimize scope and schedule, manage cross-functional dependencies, and proactively identify and manage risks.
  • Craft clear communication of progress toward goals, reporting status to stakeholders and leadership as needed
  • Provide domain expertise to form technical strategies with engineering partners
  • Apply strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to devise sound technical approaches to abstract goals
  • Identify the systems involved to build new solutions, align roadmaps, and weigh relative priorities
  • Build strong relationships and rally the team with high emotional intelligence and exceptional listening skills
  • Operate independently, challenge the status quo, and always play for the larger team
  • Highly skilled, experienced, and enjoys orchestrating multiple programs with many moving parts and creating partnerships with cross-functional teams
  • Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience
  • As comfortable speaking technically as non-technically and able to bridge between the two
  • Detail-oriented, can identify what's missing in planning and execution of software development, testing, and launch
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal direction
  • To adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • A passion for data and information with strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Work in multi-functional groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to a common objective
  • Communicate well across distributed teams and formats (written, verbal and presentation)
