About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding all aspects of assigned development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Oversee and guide all aspects of assigned development projects, including coordination with company partners on land and building acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Financial Management: Support financial tasks such as Proforma creation, internal approvals, financial reporting, and overall project financial performance.
  • Project Budgeting: Manage budgets, assess risks, and track both hard and soft costs related to land, infrastructure, and construction.
  • Team Management: Hire and manage design professionals and consultants, ensuring adherence to project deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
  • Project Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans, and lead the approval process from acquisition through permitting to project closeout.
  • Estimating and Contract Administration: Provide and coordinate estimating for development phases and oversee contract administration during construction.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections for progress, safety, and quality, coordinating with internal and external consultants.
  • Project Closeout: Lead project closeout with all relevant parties and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Respond to build-to-suit or leasing Rfp ́s, establish plans, budgets, and schedules, and participate in regular development meetings to ensure milestones are met.
  • Market Research: Surpass customer expectations, monitor local construction market trends, and research design and construction alternatives to drive innovation without compromising functionality or cost efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (Civil or Structural is a bonus)
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience working in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, Development, or similar industries
  • Project Management: PM experience
  • BIM Experience: Experience on BIM projects
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, manage internal and external project teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Computer proficiency
  • Communication: Excellent written, and verbal communication skills
  • Language: Profficient English
  • Travel: Travel Availabilty (+70% of the time)
  • Certification: PMP Certified
