Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

UNICEF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of HR services that enhance the capacity of our clients to deliver on their business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Human Resources: Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, including talent management, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Implementation of assigned Human Resources Services: Develop and implement HR services that meet the needs of our clients, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Learning and Capacity Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.
  • HR Data Analytics: Analyze HR data to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Education: An advanced university degree (Master's or PhD) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Psychology, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant progressive work experience in Human Resources Management, with experience in supervisory roles.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, analytical abilities, decision-making capacity, conflict resolution, and active listening.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in organizational design, conflict management, and change management.
  • Previous experience with UNICEF or another UN agency.
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency situations.
