Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Visual Communications Specialist to join our team at Axalta Coating Systems. This individual will be responsible for designing and creating marketing materials, product labels, and other visual elements that showcase our brand and products.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in graphic design, color theory, typography, and digital specifications. They will work collaboratively with the internal Premium and Mainstream Marketing Communications teams to create high-quality visual content that drives customer gains and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and update marketing materials, including proposals, presentations, sell sheets, brochures, training materials, and more.
  • Build tools to obtain and retain partners, including presentations, workbooks, and more.
  • Packaging files, draft print specifications for production, and post to the sales enablement system.
  • Support local activations with event/exhibit material designs that adhere to segment, brand, or corporate brand guidelines.
  • Design and update an extensive portfolio of product labels.
  • Provide design guidance to colleagues who are building external-facing premium/mainstream segment documentation, such as training, product information, and more.
  • Create tables, charts, graphs, illustrations, and other visuals as needed.
  • Ensure brand standards are consistently applied to all materials.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need 2 years of graphic design experience in a corporate or agency environment. You should possess deep understanding of graphic design principles, color theories, typography, and the nuances of print and digital specifications. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is also required.

You will be a highly collaborative team player who works well with others but also independently. The ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and partners is essential. Video editing experience is a plus.
