Npi Engineer

**Job Summary**

Cypress Industries is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for releasing sheet metal NPIs with good quality per customer standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure all parts are done on time and within budget.
• Check routings, BOMs, and release work orders for all new products.
• Coordinate and work with cross-functional teams to meet new and current customer demands and standards.
• Design Tooling, Weld Fixtures, and Checking Fixtures using manual, automatic, and robotic clamping conditions.
• Determine the manufacturing feasibility of new jobs and processes.
• Follow policies and procedures related to the quality management system for engineering.
• Work with Quality to ensure the control plan and PFEMA requirements are integrated into the manufacturing drawings.
• Monitor 1st runs and ensure times in the system are correct.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or equivalent or engineering experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing, especially Welding, Paint, Punch/Laser & Powder coating.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing best practices such as assembly, press brake, and punch/laser cutting, welding & painting.
• Application knowledge of AWS symbols.
• Familiar with developing bills of material & routings.
• Good communicator, 85% English written and oral.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position.
• $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 monthly salary.
