Job Description

At Angel Ventures, we're dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs and innovators to drive positive change in Mexico. As a Software Engineering Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our products and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers in delivering high-quality technical services that support and enable our products.
  • Develop and maintain technical strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development from conception to launch.
  • Ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality software delivery.
  • Implement agile practices, risk management, and quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience in software engineering and development.
  • Proven experience in driving product development from conception to launch.
  • Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise product requirements.
  • Exceptional people management and team-building skills.
  • Expertise in relevant technologies, programming languages, and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strategic thinking with an ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Knowledge of security practices and software architecture principles.
  • Excellent communication in both, English and Spanish.
