Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team at Flex. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving all test and burn-in processes within your area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain process specifications to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
  • Review and update process specifications as needed to reflect changes in process requirements and test techniques
  • Ensure that test and burn-in processes meet all safety specifications
  • Monitor quality yields and develop corrective actions to eliminate yield detractors and improve process reliability
  • Assist with the fabrication and development of new equipment, fixtures, and test programs
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and ensure that scheduled maintenance is completed according to the specified schedule
  • Partner with engineering and development labs to support new product introduction and development
  • Coordinate and monitor FIMPA or product off-load activities for assigned test and burn-in processes
  • Develop and maintain training and certification packages for manufacturing and maintenance personnel
  • Collaborate with industrial engineering on equipment moves and line re-arrangements
  • Drive recovery actions and repair of down test or burn-in processes
  • Assist test engineers in developing disaster recovery plans for each test and burn-in process
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a minimum of an Associate's degree, military technical training, or equivalent experience and training
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Flex technologies and techniques
  • Basic functional and process knowledge
  • Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments
  • Technical skills, including electronic assembly, testing, inspection, and mechanical and electrical tools
