Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team at Lear Corporation. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our automotive products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop harness plans for electrical systems
- Validate products against customer specifications and engineering changes
- Review and upload bills of materials (BOM) in the REN2/QAD database
- Prepare and load cutting sheets in the UCS system and generate visual aids for special processes
- Prepare and load standard times for the manufacture of harnesses
- Create and review cost studies in SEM (Smart Execution Management)
- Prepare DCN (Design Change Notice) and BCN (BOM Change Notice) to notify the team of engineering changes
- Ensure 100% compliance with Product Engineering procedures and documentation
- Generate and analyze cost reduction ideas for the company
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Years of experience in similar positions within the wire harness automotive industry
- Advanced Excel skills
- AutoCad advanced skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Leadership skills
- English Advanced Level (C1+)
