About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team at Siemens Energy as a Marketing Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sales estimates, technical and commercial proposals for the sales team, including project take-offs, specification interpretation, and contract reviews.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure project requirements are met, including safety standards.
- Provide technical support and advice to sales and operations teams on labor and material job costs.
- Stay up-to-date with market conditions, customer needs, and competitors in the region.
- Assist sales teams in providing project labor and equipment costs, counts, and ensuring part number accuracy.
- Facilitate project closure turnover meetings between assigned sales and operations employees.
Requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or Service Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of technical aspects related to GT, ST, and/or Gen.
- Advanced English language proficiency.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
