The Credit Risk Senior Analyst is a developing professional role that requires a strong understanding of credit risk management and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of industry standards and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-depth analysis of business financial trends, indicators, and client data for presentation to the Underwriting Manager.
- Manage the risk associated with new and existing borrowing relationships through the creation of customer accounting systems and early warning systems.
- Monitor compliance with borrowing base credit facility and ensure satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.
- Accompany the Underwriting Manager on customer site visits and ensure compliance with Citigroup policies.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- 2-5 years of previous experience in a financial institution with a focus on credit analysis and spreading software.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
