**Job Summary**

Te Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the strategic planning, scheduling, and monitoring of the movement of materials through the production cycle. They determine the optimal quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and provide short-term production plans to maintain the level of service established for our customers.

• Generate and track production orders aligned with the master plan, optimizing based on production priorities and capabilities.

• Provide visibility into inventory as well as service issues and capacity limitations.

• Participate in periodic review meetings of expired orders.

• Analyze and propose levels of safety stock to maintain service levels according to historical demand.

• Maintain a constant analysis of the backlog for at least 6 weeks to prevent material problems.

• Work closely with production supervisors for problem-solving.

• Ensure the smooth flow of work shop orders through the manufacturing process and logistics process.

• Maintain production control within the focus factory.

• Ensure compliance with the production schedule.

**Requirements**

• University degree or equivalent.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills.

• Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
