At Teradata, we're on a mission to empower our customers with better information. As a Data Engineer Intern, you'll play a crucial role in helping us achieve this goal. You'll work with our talented team to identify and document high-impact business problems and potential solutions, leveraging your analytical skills and knowledge of data engineering to drive business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Design and implement data pipelines to extract insights from vast amounts of structured and unstructured data
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict business outcomes and optimize processes
  • Work with our data storage architecture team to design and implement scalable data storage solutions
  • Present your findings and recommendations to stakeholders, using data visualization tools to communicate complex insights

Who You'll Work With

You'll be part of a dynamic team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists who are passionate about using data to drive business success. You'll work closely with our BI analysts to create prototypes, implement traditional classifiers, and develop predictive and regressive analysis points.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong data wrangling skills, with experience working with JSON/XML data and other data manipulation platforms
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools
  • Experience with machine learning and data science concepts, with a passion for applying them to real-world business problems
