Credentialing Specialist

The Credentialing Specialist at Usa Clinics Group plays a pivotal role in the healthcare provider enrollment process. This key position is responsible for ensuring that all providers remain active and compliant with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
• Maintain accurate provider records and update their information in a timely manner according to CMS schedules
• Process re-validation requests from government and commercial payers
• Coordinate with hospitals to credential new providers and re-credential existing ones with staff privileges
• Collaborate with the Billing and Authorizations Departments to resolve credentialing-related issues
• Ensure providers' profiles are accurate and up-to-date on ECHO, CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and CMS databases
**Requirements**:
• In-depth knowledge of provider credentialing and its impact on the revenue cycle
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and internet use
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills and effective communication
