As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.

You will oversee the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials, ensuring the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. You will coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish practices that ensure the correct administration of the MPS/MRP parameters for planning, the appropriate use of the system and compliance. You will track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify gaps and implement corrective actions.

You will analyze trend requirements and published forecasting to drive planning actions. You will evaluate Planned Orders to create suitable productions schedules. You will estimate the amount of material to be used in the production schedule (Clear-to-build). You will promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.

You will monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottleneck in usage. You will monitoring and creation of deliveries per Customer needs (Customer Requested Date). You will notify Sales & Customer Service teams of any schedule impacts to customers.

You will identify strategies to take care of Ship-to-Request metrics per deliveries creation. You will maintain finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure high service levels. You will monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan.

You will review past due orders to determine most effective action-reschedule. You will timely reporting of key metrics (Past Due & Ship-to-Request). You will monitor MRP system setup, identify supply gaps and proactively work with the different stakeholders to implement solutions.

  • FOLLOWED AND ESTABLISHED PRACTICES THAT ENSURE THE CORRECT ADMINISTRATION OF THE MPS/MRP PARAMETERS FOR PLANNING, THE APPROPRIATE USE OF THE SYSTEM AND COMPLIANCE.
  • TRACK KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs), IDENTIFY GAPS AND IMPLEMENT CORRECTIVE ACTIONS.
  • IDENTIFIED POTENTIAL RISKS IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN AND DEVELOPED MITIGATION STRATEGIES.
  • MANAGED PLANT MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENTS ACCORDING TO INVENTORY POLICY AND PLANT CAPACITIES.
  • DIRECT CONTACT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ESTABLISH AGREEMENTS AND COORDINATE ON TIME DELIVERY.
  • ANALYZED TREND REQUIREMENTS AND PUBLISHED FORECASTING TO DRIVE PLANNING ACTIONS.
  • EVALUATED PLANNED ORDERS TO CREATE SUITABLE PRODUCTIONS SCHEDULES.
  • ESTIMATED THE AMOUNT OF MATERIAL TO BE USED IN THE PRODUCTION SCHEDULE (CLEAR-TO-BUILD).
  • PROMPTLY ADDRESSING AND RESOLVING PRODUCTION ISSUES TO MINIMIZE DELAYS IN PRODUCTION.
  • MONITORING AND CREATION OF DELIVERIES PER CUSTOMER NEEDS (CUSTOMER REQUESTED DATE).
  • NOTIFIED SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAMS OF ANY SCHEDULE IMPACTS TO CUSTOMERS.
  • IDENTIFIED STRATEGIES TO TAKE CARE OF SHIP-TO-REQUEST METRICS PER DELIVERIES CREATION.
  • MAINTAINED FINISHED GOODS INVENTORY AT TARGET LEVELS TO ENSURE HIGH SERVICE LEVELS.
  • MONITORED ACTUAL OUTPUT VERSUS THE MASTER PRODUCTION PLAN.
  • REVIEWED PAST DUE ORDERS TO DETERMINE MOST EFFECTIVE ACTION-RESCHEDULE.
  • TIMELY REPORTING OF KEY METRICS (PAST DUE & SHIP-TO-REQUEST).
  • MONITORED MRP SYSTEM SETUP, IDENTIFIED SUPPLY GAPS AND PROACTIVELY WORKED WITH THE DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDERS TO IMPLEMENT SOLUTIONS.


Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain / Industrial Engineering preferred) or equivalent relevant experience in Supply Chain/Production Planning.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • MRP experience required.
  • Purchasing experience required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, time management and proven computer skills.
  • Ability to deal with fast paced multiple demands and very dynamic situations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in using SAP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge on S&OP process.
