Walmart Planner Lead

The Walmart Planner Lead will be responsible for performing Planner Assistant duties for their respective category, as well as training and overseeing the Walmart Planner Assistant role in other categories.
Key Responsibilities- Train and develop Planner Assistants on job functions and planning/allocation theory and practices.
- Collaborate with Replenishment Manager on weekly allocations, strategies, and process improvements.
- Analyze Walmart data for additional sales opportunities, identify, and create solutions to any foreseen risks.
- Run allocation tool weekly to ensure Walmart is in-stock on replenishable programs.
- Ladder planning - pre-season creation, in-season actualization, and trending.
- Ad hoc Walmart reporting utilizing Retail Link.
- Special Projects as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent.
- Practical Merchandise Planning and Allocation/Replenishment experience.
- Team leadership and/or training experience.
- Advanced Excel knowledge plus all Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Time management and multi-task efficiency.
- 5+ years of professional/corporate retail experience: Walmart Mexico, Sam's Club, Oxxo, Soriana.
