**Job Summary**

The 3D Modeling/Procurement Engineer is responsible for accurately interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering notes. This individual will also be responsible for loading part numbers into enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems, and revising bills-of-material for internal customers in manufacturing and purchasing departments.

**Responsibilities**

  • Review and analyze technical drawings for parts and assemblies using computer-aided design (CAD) software to confirm parts can be manufactured to meet engineering requirements.
  • Create or edit bills of material to ensure correct material demand requirements for purchased and self-manufactured components.
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare a quote package for internal or external vendors.
  • Expedite and analyze quotes with external vendors.
  • Expedite manufacturing capability confirmation with internal vendors.
  • Set up components in the system for ordering.
  • Review and compare bills of materials, manufacturing orders, and picking lists.
  • Upload and set up new parts to MRP/ERP systems.

**Qualifications**

  • Unfinished or in-process university degree, preferably in engineering.
  • Minimum experience of 1 year in similar positions.
  • Fluent bilingual English-Spanish (written and spoken).
  • 3D modeling experience with CAD software.
  • Able to analyze technical documents and specifications.
  • BOM/MRP/ERP experience.
  • General knowledge of the production part approval process (PPAP).
  • General knowledge of how an ERP system works.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement.
  • Proficiency with various computer software and applications.

**Compensation and Location**

Pay: From $1,234.00 per week
