About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Engineer to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team at our CIENEGA DE FLORES facility in Nuevo León, Mexico. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards, as well as developing innovative solutions to reduce our environmental footprint.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, including ISO-45001, ISO-14001 and IATF.
• Analyze and communicate information to internal stakeholders regarding environmental compliance matters.
• Demonstrate expertise in environmental disciplines and leverage this knowledge on other projects.
• Propose innovative initiatives and projects to improve environmental performance.
• Evaluate and implement measures to reduce waste and energy consumption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced English language skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in environmental sustainability or a related field.
• Proven track record of implementing environmental initiatives and improving sustainability performance.

Location

The selected candidate will be based at our CIENEGA DE FLORES facility in Nuevo León, Mexico. Travel may be required to attend meetings and training sessions within the region.
