Pool Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. in Cancun, Mexico. As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, including washing, mopping, and cleaning the area.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
• Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency.
• Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility.
• Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification required.
