This role is integral to our Advanced Safety & User Experience division.

Overview:

The Agile Project Facilitator undertakes a diverse range of responsibilities related to scrum teams for software development, monitoring team performance, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This position collaborates closely with Product Owners and various stakeholders to plan and coordinate sprint ceremonies and team events. If chosen, you will engage with skilled global teams composed of software, systems, and testing engineers. Aptiv is at the forefront of developing innovative advanced driver-assistance systems and user experience solutions that enhance vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Encourage the team to adopt and implement agile methodologies, principles, and values Track the team's progress towards objectives by emphasizing performance enhancements Guide the team in identifying and resolving obstacles Lead efforts for continuous improvement through effective retrospectives Assess and enhance the agile maturity of the team; mentor the team towards higher proficiency Foster a trusting environment focused on problem-solving Facilitate team gatherings; daily stand-ups, iteration planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc. Support communication efforts, enhancing transparency Advise the Product Owner and team on backlog maintenance and sprint planning Assist and coach the team on effective task breakdown, estimation, and planning Prepare for and follow up on Program Iteration (PI) planning Ensure robust collaboration with Scrum Coordinators and Software Quality Assurance teams

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (computer science, software engineering, or a related field) Minimum of 6 months of experience in the Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics Bilingual – proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing Strong interpersonal skills, analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude towards challenges Cross-functional interests, self-motivated, and adaptable to change Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent soft skills: adept at networking, influencing, and a commitment to continuous learning Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

Scrum Master certification Experience with Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability determination) Familiarity with SDLC tools such as JIRA, requirements management tools (like Polarion), and configuration management tools (like Plastic) Proven ability in creating and reviewing project-specific documentation Experience in Automotive Embedded product development
