We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Piovan Group. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing our machines, including providing training to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission our machines at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal machine performance
- Provide training to customers on the safe and efficient operation of our machines
- Troubleshoot and diagnose machine malfunctions, identifying and implementing solutions to minimize downtime
- Travel to customer sites throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean to provide on-site support
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the plastic processing industry, with a focus on injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- Valid driver's license and passport, with a US visa type B1/B2 (plus)
Technical Competences:
- Machine installation and commissioning
- Troubleshooting and repair
- Customer training and support
- Software skills and knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems
