Maintenance Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Givaudan in Cuernavaca, Mexico. As a key member of our industrial operations team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing maintenance activities to support manufacturing strategies.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide input to the local Maintenance plan and related objectives, including production capacity, schedule of critical maintenance activities, changes in equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Implement functional strategies locally through deployment of operational plans.
• Lead a team of maintenance specialists executing maintenance activities for the site.
• Provide input to the definition of maintenance budgets based on maintenance requirements.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS and QM policies.
• Identify, recommend, and deploy improvements to correct non-compliant situations or improve productivity.
• Improve stock of spare parts and disposal of obsolete materials.
• Coordinate work of suppliers, monitor their performance, and escalate issues to the E&M management and Procurement for resolution.
• Provide support to engineering projects regarding operative procedures and equipment/installation trials.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline with Maintenance certification.
• At least 7 years of overall experience in Maintenance and at least 2 years as a Maintenance Coordinator/Supervisor/Superintendent or similar position leading a team in industrial operations of the foods & beverages, mass consumption, or chemical industries.
• Experience in industrialization and engineering projects with focus on testing activities.
• Knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
• Experience using SAP.
• Upper-intermediate level of English, both oral and written.
