At Brose Careers, we're looking for a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support Q-Gate meetings with management teams to drive quality initiatives forward.
- Coordinate quality requirements with customers to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Develop advanced quality plans with customers, suppliers, and production teams to drive quality excellence.
- Verify product manufacturability and collaborate on design and process FMEA to ensure quality standards are met.
- Design and develop test fixtures, arrange construction, and monitor completion to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Improve the quality situation through constant analysis of products with the product team.
- Act as the primary customer quality interface during development and early production phases of new projects.
- Ensure compliance to IATF 16949, ASO 14001, VDA, and Brose Product Development Process standards.
- Maintain internal and customer documentation for quality records.
- Assist production teams with serial production concerns.
Your Profile
- Five years' experience in the automotive/supplier industry within quality methods and quality control.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software package (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Minitab).
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- APQP experience.
- PFMEA.
- Control plans.
- Feasibility analysis.
- Quality concept for assembly.
- Gage R&R.
