Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer to join our team. As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and translating customer functional specifications into concrete robot control programs. You will work on projects for a certain period and have final responsibility for the robotics part.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing projects (65%): You will be responsible for implementing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Managing your projects (20%): You will manage your projects, including planning, coordinating, and controlling resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support other areas (10%): You will provide support to other areas of the business, including technical assistance and guidance.
  • Other (5%): You will perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in robotics and/or industrial automation: You will have a strong background in robotics and/or industrial automation, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent English level: You will have a fluent English level and be willing to travel for extended periods.
  • US visa and work abroad: You will have a US visa and be willing to work abroad if necessary.

About the Role

As a Robotics Engineer at Awl-Techniek, you will be part of an enthusiastic team of engineers. You will work closely with your colleagues from PLC Control, Robot Welding, and Assembly. You will develop test plans and work instructions, execute preparatory tasks for the transfer/training of our customers, and work directly in the plants of our customers.

  • Execute preparatory tasks: You will execute preparatory tasks for the transfer/training of our customers, including planning, coordinating, and controlling resources.
  • Work directly in customer plants: You will work directly in the plants of our customers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
