This is a long-term contractor role with the potential to transition into a full-time position with all associated benefits after an initial 3-4 month contract period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the quality assurance process for our projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements and provide input on testability, test coverage, and overall software quality.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing.
• Identify areas for test automation and contribute to the development of automated test scripts.
• Conduct thorough bug tracking, defect reporting, and issue resolution.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing support and training as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in manual testing, including creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with web and mobile app development technologies such as JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Ability to perform both functional and non-functional testing.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
