At Wizeline, we're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineering Lead, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data engineering solutions with a focus on analytics and reporting.
About the Role
We're seeking someone with 7+ years of experience in large-scale data engineering, who has a strong background in SQL, data analysis, project leadership, and programming skills with Python. You should also have experience working with Spark, Hadoop-like ecosystems, and cloud-scalable data lake solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing ETL processes for big volumes of data (terabytes) requiring distributed processing
- Developing cloud-scalable, real-time, and high-performance data lake solutions
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Apache HBase, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- Data streams processing technologies including Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc
- Advanced English language proficiency
