About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Revenue Optimization Leader to join our team at Grand Hyatt Playa Del Carmen. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability through effective revenue management strategies.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced revenue professional who can lead our revenue management department. You will have a proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions that drive revenue growth and improve profit margins.

You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team. Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of revenue management principles and practices, as well as experience working with industry-leading revenue management systems.

Your expertise in strategic planning, data analysis, and problem-solving will be essential in developing and implementing effective revenue optimization strategies. You should also have strong interpersonal and business acumen skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize overall hotel profitability.
  • Lead the preparation of accurate and insightful revenue forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align revenue strategies with the hotel's overall business objectives.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, room inventory, and distribution channels to optimize revenue and market share.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Revenue or Revenue Manager.
  • Comprehensive understanding of revenue management principles, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in utilizing revenue management systems, showcasing strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, fostering effective collaboration and team dynamics.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
