Job Summary

FedEx Express México is seeking a skilled Operations Handler to join our team. As an Operations Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages.
  • Conduct thorough checks on packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content, and special requirements for hazardous material shipments.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of package delivery and pickup, including airway bills and delivery records.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue by seeking additional business from current customers.
  • Communicate effectively with Station Ops. Manager and Sales team to inform them of changes in customer and competitor efforts.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe and secure manner, performing basic maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Audit and sort packages to ensure accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with FedEx safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements
  • Middle School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Basic English Skills.
  • Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
  • Must be able to work variable shifts.
  • General vehicle maintenance and power and hand tools experience a plus.
