Job Summary

Kiewit Mexico, a leading engineering and construction organization, is seeking a skilled Takeoff Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely quantity and bill of materials takeoffs for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract and quantify data from IFC drawings, isometrics, and 3D models to support project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate and complete takeoffs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including project site and AWP teams.
  • Perform other job-related duties as needed to support the success of our projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in engineering or construction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and detailed drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D models software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
