About the Position

The Payroll Partner role is critical to our HR department. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to manage the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll processing, submission, reporting, and auditing for salary and hourly employees.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to process payroll according to company policies, union contracts, and legal requirements.
  • Conduct audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of policies and calculations for all pay groups.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive US payroll-related experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of US multi-state and local payroll tax experience.
  • Experience with federal and state labor laws, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act, state wage and hour regulations, federal and state payroll tax regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables), and Workday.
