About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing GCP solutions, including compute, network, storage, identity, security, and migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and design GCP solutions for clients.
- Implement cloud transformation programs, including discovery, assessment, business case creation, design, build, migration planning, and execution.
- Develop and implement industry-leading or native discovery, assessment, and migration tools.
- Maintain good knowledge of cloud technology, deployment methods, and compatibility of applications.
- Evaluate and recommend GCP technologies and associated components and variations.
Technical Requirements:
- Working knowledge of GCE, GAE, GKE, and GCS.
- Hands-on experience in creating and provisioning compute instances using GCP console, Terraform, and Google Cloud SDK.
- Creating databases in GCP and in VMs.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (BigQuery).
- Knowledge of cost analysis and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of Git & GitHub.
- Knowledge of Terraform and Jenkins.
- Monitoring VMs and applications using Stackdriver.
- Working knowledge of VPN and Interconnect setup.
- Hands-on experience in setting up HA environments.
- Hands-on experience in creating VM instances in Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience in cloud storage and retention policies in storage.
- Managing users on Google IAM Service and providing them appropriate permissions.
- GKE - Designing, implementing, managing, and deploying cloud-native applications in a Kubernetes environment.
- GKE - Automation, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring team members.
- GKE - Understanding security, efficiency, scalability of core services and capabilities.
