**About the Role**

This position involves Advanced Product Quality Planning Disposition Phase activities as outlined in the PDP Product Development Procedure. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering measurement plans, measurement strategy execution, and disposition lead for tooling transfers to Guadalajara Sur Plant. Significant support will be provided in qualification plans and PPAP packages. Guidance may be received from senior department members for critical or large-scale programs.

**Key Responsibilities**

The individual will work closely with Internal customers, Customer Quality Engineers, Product Engineers, MIEs, AQP Engineers, QE's, QC's, sorters, Product Managers, Account Managers, and others.

- Drive the development of measurement strategies, metrology processes, etc. Lead disposition activities and review data measurements, defining the measurement strategy, and ensuring teams adhere to decision-making regarding tool, product, or drawing changes.
- Conduct statistical analysis for process qualification, control, and continuous improvement. Ensure metrology/statistical data is understood by the Product Development team for informed decision-making, or seek advice from senior department members as needed.
- Utilize interpersonal skills to reach consensus with team members when conflicts arise and maintain team cohesion through challenging decisions. Seek assistance from other department resources if required to resolve issues.
- Provide Guadalajara Management Tooling Transfer team data to support tooling qualification. Authorize maintaining and improving the dimensional qualification process integrity and effectiveness.

**Requirements**

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field.
- 3+ years of strong experience in manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Volume Graphics Metrology software is mandatory.
- English intermediate advanced speaking level.
- PC skills with working knowledge of spreadsheet and other Windows-based software.
- Strong understanding of fundamental dimensional control principles, datum coordination, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T, etc.).
- Metrology knowledge: Understand CT Scanning Capabilities and Limitations, understand all potential measurement methods of components.
