Key Responsibilities
The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for:
- Purchase Order Processing: Review and process purchase orders to ensure compliance with internal policies, approval hierarchies, and accuracy in terms of pricing, vendor details, and other critical information.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all purchase requests follow established company policies and procurement processes.
- Customer Service: Develop a solution when necessary to meet customer needs for timeliness and quality.
- Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Invoice Resolution: Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies by working with accounts payable, suppliers, and procurement buyers.
You will also be responsible for supporting market intelligence activities, economics measurement, and creating meaningful reports for different levels of stakeholders.
