We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Build Technician to join our team at Autoliv Mexico. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing complex machinery components.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Testing: Assemble and test machine and electrical enclosures in accordance with our standard work procedures (SWO) and schedules.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on electrical and pneumatic connections, and ensure that all components meet our quality standards.
- Material Receipt and Validation: Receive and validate materials for machinery assembly, ensuring that all components are correct and meet our specifications.
- Mechanical Assembly: Assemble all mechanical components based on SolidWorks 3D drawings, ensuring that all components are properly aligned and secured.
- Improvement Implementation: Identify areas for improvement during the assembly phase and create dispatches for implementation.
- Progress Prioritization: Prioritize progress based on the availability of materials, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
- Recovery Analysis: Collaborate with our multifunctional team to analyze and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.
- Technical Competencies: Proficiency in SolidWorks, DraftSight, and 2D interpretation of mechanical drawings and pneumatic diagrams. Knowledge of pneumatics, electronics, mechanics, and electricity, as well as applications and installations.
- Software and Hardware: Basic knowledge of Allen Bradley (Rockwell) components, Cognex/Keyence cameras and scanners.
- Education and Experience: Technical career or mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, or similar field.
