Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications System Administrator to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As a key member of our Technical Support Branch, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our unified communications systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
  • Monitor and maintain system/server configuration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure maximum interoperability between KBSC Unified Communications and external UC resources.
  • Monitor system performance and take corrective actions when required.
  • Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.
  • Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all communications between servers, local and remote sites, and clients are fully operational.
  • Provide 12 hour coverage during exercise periods to include working shifts when required.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of the importance of exceptional customer-contractor relationships.
  • Maintain 100% equipment accountability.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge in Information Systems and Information Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with Cisco Call Managers version 11.5 or newer.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with Cisco Meeting Server version 3.5 or newer.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with Cisco Jabber Server version 11.5 or newer.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with Cisco video endpoints to include SX-20s, SX-80s, and Room Kits.
  • Must be eligible to upgrade security clearance to TOP SECRET.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain IAT Level II and the appropriate computing environment certifications IAW DoDM such as Security+ CE.
