Job Title: IT Manager

Consea America is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team in the Monterrey Area, MX. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the IT function and ensuring the effective operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage IT systems, business relations, requirements, people, and processes to ensure effective operations in alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as a single point of contact for Information Technology area for all business needs.
  • Provide leadership to ensure timely resolutions of technical errors and system and process breakdowns.
  • Support systems and processes enabling manufacturing and production operations.
  • Ensure the appropriate people are working on the issue and the appropriate business team members are informed of the status.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreement is well defined, communicated and consistently meeting expectations.
  • Maintain on-going relationships with suppliers/vendors and conduct a cost-benefit analysis on all IT-related projects.
  • Ensure privacy and security are protected with policy development and security mechanisms.
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating desired organization outcomes, identifying problems and potential issues, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
  • Achieve financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintain a quality IT service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensure communication and coordination with leaders of other IT groups.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the key business processes and systems employed by the business.
  • Identify process and performance metrics improvements.
  • Help ensure growth and success by providing mentoring and training in the established processes, policies, and procedures, as well as tools and templates utilized in the department.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in the field of engineering/computer science, or equivalent.
  • 5 Years of management experience working in IT for manufacturing companies.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Business processes and systems such as ERP / SAP, IFS, PLM, MES.
  • Knowledge on the SAP system with Cross-functional knowledge is added value.
  • Experience administrating and operating a VMWare, Windows Server environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex problems in a non-technical simplified manner and in business impact terms.
  • Solves difficult problems with effective solutions using rigorous logic and methods.
  • Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in running medium to large-scale projects with an excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures, analyst methodologies, best practices, and change management.
  • Understanding of factory planning, production control, materials management, and quality management is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Provides direct, complete, and "actionable" feedback to others, including those in management positions.
  • Business English language proficiency, and ability to work well in a multinational environment.
  • Capable of making tough decision on a timely basis.
