About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Planning Engineer to join our team at ZF Group. As a key member of our industrialization team, you will be responsible for ensuring the feasibility of our projects and implementing quality planning for international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and ensure the feasibility of projects with the industrialization team
- Implement quality planning for international projects
- Create control plans for prototypes, pre-production, safe launch, and handover to series production
- Define the type and scope of requalification checks
- Participate in risk analyses (e.g. design/system/process/FMEA)
- Implement lessons learned measures to minimize nonconformity costs and risks
- Support in moderating process FMEA workshops
- Participate in the project team in the product and process release at localization locations
- Evaluate quality aspects within the scope of acceptance at the equipment manufacturer
- Act as the central Q contact for the industrialization of new products at ZF locations
- Apply and train relevant quality methods and tools
Requirements
- Relevant, completed technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering)
- Alternatively, completed technical training with further training as a technician or specialist
- Experience in quality planning, SPC, measuring technology, risk analyses, and quality methods is desirable
- Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-initiative, independent working methods, and assertiveness
- English language proficiency
