Job Title: General Accounting Lead

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled General Accounting Lead to join our team at Guerbet. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of accounting processes.
  • Develop and implement effective accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters, ensuring the company's financial health and stability.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, implementing changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS and internal control principles.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing accounting teams, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP systems, including SAP and JDE.
