Job Description

We are seeking an EPS Product Development Engineer to join our team in Queretaro. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning assigned projects, planning, tracking, and managing all necessary actions to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Project Ownership: You will be accountable for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed within the agreed QCD targets.
  2. Project Management: You will know and adhere to ZF's project management standards, translating customer requirements into our project management processes.
  3. Financial Management: You will own the budget for assigned projects, maximizing financial contribution for ZF.
  4. Operational Planning: You will contribute to operational planning for the project portfolio, seeking alignment with stakeholders and achieving productivity targets.
  5. Financial Recovery: You will initiate and own financial recovery plans in case of deviations from operational plans.
  6. Customer Reimbursement: You will ensure timely customer reimbursement and identify opportunities for financial claims from customers and suppliers.
  7. Project Planning: You will create and maintain a feasible and cross-functionally aligned project plan to meet QCD targets.
  8. Risk Management: You will anticipate and manage project risks, applying appropriate problem-solving methods and holding team members accountable for problem resolution.
  9. Stakeholder Management: You will manage internal and external stakeholders' interests.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a Business/Management degree.
  2. Experience: Above 2 years of experience in Purchasing or Project Management in the Automotive Industry.
  3. Skills: Knowledge of Project Management standards and systems, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and project management expertise.
  4. Leadership: Entrepreneurial competencies, leadership skills, and social and interpersonal competencies.
  5. Travel: 30-50% travel required.
