Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Agent to join our team at FedEx. As a Customs Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth clearance of air cargo shipments through customs procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare customs forms and documentation for import, export, and transit procedures.
  • Coordinate with customs officials and internal staff to ensure compliance with country policies and tax laws.
  • Process customs clearance for air cargo shipments, including preparation of customs declarations and payment of duties and taxes.
  • Manage customs documentation and ensure accurate and timely filing.
  • Perform cargo classification and transfer to other airlines as required.
  • Track shipments and inventory management of loads in urgent shipping warehouses.
  • Support load-captain function and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in international trade or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in handling air cargo, customs procedures, and clearance processes.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
