The role involves leading a procurement team in value generation and best cost optimization within customer-focused sourcing and procurement activities. You will prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure service levels, productivity, and delivery of project requirements meet internal stakeholder and customer expectations.

This position requires supply chain management from sourcing, quoting, purchasing, and supplier management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for developing and managing direct reports' goals, performance, and talent development.
  • Demonstrating ability to translate knowledge into cross-functional strategic plans with clear success measures.
  • Balancing department workload to achieve priorities and operational objectives related to internal requests and customer service requirements.
  • Leading a disciplined operational rhythm to manage materials and services supply while identifying and solving complex problems with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Supporting buyers in completing initiatives related to productivity, negotiations, and inflation restraint as part of strategic deployment.
  • Managing suppliers to improve cost, quality, delivery, and reduce risks of supply chain interruption, including maintaining approved and preferred suppliers.
  • Developing relationships with business units and corporate functions to improve and grow strategic partnerships.
  • Exercising ethical commercial judgment in a highly visible, high-pressure environment.
  • Promoting continuous improvement through risk management support and global standard work execution.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Considerable analytical skills for cost analysis, operational measures, and business case development.
  • Complex problem-solving skills with innovative solution implementation.
  • Solid experience with contract negotiations in various commodities and countries.
  • Advanced skills in building strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated persuasion skills to gain agreement among stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplined projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience presenting complex ideas to management in a simplified manner.
  • Self-driven collaborator with a customer service focus.
  • Proactive learning company policies and procedures to perform tasks efficiently.

We offer a competitive salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and average salaries for similar roles in the region.
