Our Industrial Director plays a pivotal role in shaping our industrial strategy, ensuring the performance of their organization, and delivering customer satisfaction. With a dual focus on operational excellence and strategic planning, this leader is responsible for deploying the industrial strategy, including human, financial, and physical resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Accountable for the industrial delivery (end-to-end) for Business Lines (BLs).
- Responsible for the capability to deliver industrialization/preparation for production, planning, procurement, production, and shipping to agreed customers at each industrial site.
- Leads activities covered by the industrial job family (Industrial Supply Chain, Technologies in Manufacturing, production planning, Integration/Test/Repair, Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, I4.0/Digital) ensuring readiness to deliver customer demand at region/country level.
- Defines the industrialization strategy for Operational Make/Team/Buy decisions.
- Accountable for the overall performance of the industrial capability.
- Accountable for use, selection, maintenance, development, and support of Industrial tools.
- Leader in transformation, Digital Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement culture.
- Represents Industrial Operations as a point of escalation for any reviews/gates that use multi-entity resources or capability.
- Accountable for the design and deployment of the industrial/supply chain strategy to meet the strategic needs of BLs as defined by MTIPs.
- Accountable for central manufacturing costs and budget and acts as a responsible director for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain cost perimeter.
- Responsible for strict adherence to current certifications/regulations.
- Responsible for strict adherence to current regulations in terms of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
- Identify and analyze complex questions, and improve, change, or adapt existing methods and techniques within the industrial domain.
- Capacity to influence and mobilize peer networks in relevant specialists and domains to support and improve the industrial activity.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in senior operational or industrial role.
- Management of complex, multi-discipline teams.
- Experience of complex manufacturing environments and supply chains.
- Experience/understanding of total supply chain disciplines (Manufacturing Engineering (IPE), Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality Assurance, Logistics/Delivery).
- Demonstrable success leading and developing diverse teams.
- Transformation management expertise.
- Experience of Industry 4.0 implementation or strategic development.
