Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Operations Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth supply of materials to meet production plans and sales plans, taking into consideration contracts, batch sizes, inventory policies, and storage capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and Inventory Management: Review and execute MRP suggestions and complementary routines to ensure the timely supply of assigned materials.
- Materials Review Board (MRB) and Age of Stock (AOS) Processes: Support the MRB and AOS processes to guarantee inventory health and write-off mitigation.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Onboard new suppliers, develop and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers, and perform regular performance reviews on suppliers' delivery and driving improvements.
- Productivity Initiatives: Seek productivity initiatives along with CPS sites and suppliers linked to lot size, pack size, and MOQs.
- Supplier Quality and Performance: Manage supplier quality and performance by submitting non-compliance reports.
- Master Data and Planning Parameters: Review and manage the Master Data and planning parameters in SAP.
- Supply Continuity: Execute mitigation plans for ensuring supply continuity at Plant Level (risk analysis, supply continuity taskforce lead, mitigation plan follow-up, related reporting).
Requirements:
- Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, data analytics, and/or data management.
- Skills: Exceptional business communication skills, including negotiations; knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and standards for one or more supplier industries; ability to read and interpret contractual documentation and manage performance to contracts and agreements; knowledge of products, commodities, or services and their related industries; strong customer focus and relationship management skills; strong analytical skills and the ability to work with mathematical concepts.
