Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prevent, repair, and fix plant machinery and equipment failures.
  • Develop operational and equipment failure analysis skills.
  • Generate root cause analysis to identify potential and recurring problems in machinery and equipment.
  • Innovate equipment maintenance processes.
  • Maintain and care for the product quality process.
  • Communicate any problems, deviations, and/or abnormalities with equipment.
  • Implement high safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices within the plant.
  • Ensure that food safety practices and any applicable SQF System requirements are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a field or similar maintenance environment.
  • Technical or engineering degree.
  • Knowledge in areas of injection, blow molding, filling, labeling, packaging, and/or automation.
  • Assertive problem-solving, risk analysis, high organization, and control of activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a position with people and projects management.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge in areas of injection, blow molding, filling, labeling, packaging, and/or automation.
  • Assertive problem-solving, risk analysis, high organization, and control of activities.

Education:

  • Minimum required: Technical or engineering degree.
  • Preferred: Career in mechatronics, electronics, or systems engineering.

Certification/License:

  • Required: N/A.
  • Preferred: N/A.

Foreign Language:

  • Required: None required.
  • Preferred: Elementary proficiency.
